Joining *KYA*

Interested in becoming a *KYA* member?

*KYA* is an Attack & Defend/Search & Destroy squad. It was established in November 2000 for the purpose of competitive match and tournament game play. Members enjoy a cheat-free dedicated server, the ability to play in competition, and an environment to develop your skills and have more fun. *KYA* is a close-knit adult squad with an average membership age of 33 years.

Qualifications:

§ Versatility in ALL aspects of attacking and defending-including:
§ Destroying enemy targets
§ Shooting-demonstrated skill with ALL primary weapons
§ Target defense
§ Maturity (be and act like an adult)
§ Respectfulness (never show disrespect to another player or use abusive language)
§ Commitment (willingness to practice, develop skills, and work as a team)
§ Have a sense of humor (this is only a game)
§ Cheaters/Glitchers and Prima Donas need not apply.
§ *KYA* should be your one and only interest in squads.

Candidates must have BOTH Team Speak (TeamSpeak.org) and ICQ (www.icq.com).

Recruitment process:

*KYA* recruits only exceptional players that meet the above qualifications when the need exists. The best way to get yourself noticed is to play on our dedicated server *KYA* Country and show us what you can offer the team. You may express your interest to any *KYA* member who in turn will notify the squad to "watch" you (this occurs over a period of several weeks). You may also contact WideDog*KYA* at ICQ 119743650 with any questions or concerns you may have.

Candidates may be asked to join us on RW (roger wilco) to give you an opportunity to tell us more about yourself and give us chance to get to know you.

Candidates may be offered a formal tryout. The tryout is your opportunity to privately demonstrate your game skills to the rest of the squad. After the tryout, *KYA* members will vote on your induction.

Small Print:
*KYA* members are expected to pay apx $15 per month (on a semi-annual basis) towards the cost and maintenance of our dedicated server.
