| It's official. KYA is moving to
Blackhawk Down. After many great years in DF2, we feel its time for us to
move on. We hope that we see all of our DF2 friends playing along with us in BHD. Our decision to move to BHD was based primarily on the dramatic decline of DF2. We saw a big decline in the number of quality squads and players remaining in DF2 while a big increase in the number of cheaters and other bad stuff. During our evaluation period, we have been running S&D and A&D in BHD with over 300 logins per day and an avg of 30 players per game during prime time every day. KYA will also be acquiring a brand new screamin-kickass server to run BHD 24/7. Even still, the decision to move did not come easy. KYA was born in DF2 and we all loved the game. We just see no future in DF2 anymore. The decision to move was supported by all of our members. So, to all of our friends moving to BHD---see you on the battlefield. To all of our friends that will remain DF2 hardcore we say "Booya!!!" and wish you the very best. | |

KYA will soon be testing and playing on the new TXP
terrains.. In order for you to enjoy these new terrains, you must download
the TXP expansion pack from the
TXP Website.
TXP Site has all the info and a forum for any questions you may have. The
file is aprox.16M and has a professional installer. We recommend that anyone
that enjoys playing in KYA Country download this file so you can get in. | |

KYA is proud to announce another milestone in
DF gaming. On June 16, 2003, WYA (Whup Your Ass) was born into the KYA
family as a sister squad. WYA will be a fully autonomous squad of equals
with its own operations and matches, but will benefit from all of the
resources of KYA.
WYA was created to accomplish 2 primary
objectives:
1. Allow skilled and committed players to
become a part of the KYA organization which is already too full, and
2. Maximize the the playing and practice time
for all players.
The requirements of becoming a part of WYA are
the same as KYA. Interested players should contact Ripped*KYA* for more
